"What started off as a two man operation has grown into a Limited Company, which employs experienced skilled trades and professions".

Set up in 1990 by Ken Foard, Baglan Builders has gone from strength to strength to become a Limited company in 2002. Originally concentrating on carrying out remedial work for insurance companies, grant work for local authorities, domestic extension construction, and the installation of facilities for the disabled, our company has expanded and diversified into modernising major retail shops and carrying out substantial work for other larger companies.
Our expertise is now recognised by a number of Blue Chip companies, including General Electric, for whom we have carried out extensive work on the new Energy Park concept at Baglan Bay, and the German owned retailer, Lidl.
One of the jobs we did for General Electric was to install a elevator lift to service the plants "Turbine Hall", it was used for Her Majesty the Queen when she visited the GE Power Station at Baglan Bay in October 2004.

Recently, Baglan Builders Ltd. completed a major contract for an international food retailer and are currently in the running for other lucrative contracts with the same multinational.

Our company is proud of the fact that it can offer services in all construction type fields, including a 24 hour maintenance service.

Ken says, "Baglan Builders Ltd. has the expertise to tackle all assignments... from building roads, to carrying out extension work for both domestic and industrial properties".

“Although able to tackle any job, we decided to stay a relatively modest company to retain the personal touch; we are very much focused on achieving 100% customer satisfaction.                                    Nevertheless we are a established Company and are able to "contract in" any specialist trades when required".

Ken believes; one of Baglan Builders's strengths is that as Managing Director and living locally, clients can always contact him personally.  

                                                                                               
Staff training and safety are also of paramount importance to the firm, both management and staff are trained to the highest health and safety standards.  Baglan Builders's attention to detail in staff training was recognized recently when the company was nominated for Employer of the Year by Neath Port Talbot Skill Training Center in recognition of the work they do for apprentices.
